Any ironmongery installed on a fire door must be fitted without compromising the integrity of the fire door assembly. This is of particular importance where ironmongery is rebated into the door set such as hinges, locks, latches, and concealed door closers. These 0.8mm thick intumescent sheets contain intercalated graphite which provides up to 60-minute fire protection when fitted to rebate ironmongery on fire door assemblies.
