Chain Reels

Chain Boxes Durable corrugated box, stackable, which holds 10 metres of chain.

Chain Drums Very strong, durable and stackable metal drums/barrels in varying chain lengths from 40m (20mm x 120mm) to 1050m (5mm x 35mm)

Simply strong bags which hold chain in 30 and 50 metre lengths.

Tough polycarbonate reels, ideal for storage and dispensing, hold chain in lengths of 10, 15, 25 and 30 metre.

Types of Chain Finishes

COUNTRY

Hot Dip Galvanised This is a coating applied to chain post manufacture. In liquid form it covers every surface of the chain. Durable and long lasting it is ideal for external applications. With a dull and slightly rough surface, it is very resistant to rust.

Zinc Plated This process adds a zinc finish to protect the chain and is often abbreviated to BZP. The finish is much less than of Hot Dip Galvanised and does not have the same exterior expectancy.

Black Plated Chain

Stainless Steel Chain This has great durability for most applications. Often called "Marine Stainless Steel" it is ideal for anchor chain and for use in harsh environments.

Electro-plated this gives a smooth shiny black finish.
